Maxine Brown – my childhood @the Regal Theatre! She was so classy, and had an awesome voice, even to the under 10 crowd. My mother would always take us to see just about everyone that passed through.

It must have been a blast to see Maxine on stage! She is classy singer, and from what I’ve heard, she also always looked very classy. Her stage gowns are legendary.

Stan, I don’t quite remember her attire, because I was probably under 12! The Regal closed when I turned 13, along w/Riverview [a famous amusement park, during the same summer. And they wonder why the kids went wild…
